Espoo (Finland), February 26, 2011. EKTA LED decorations were installed on the scene of Barona Arena, for the 25th jubilee EMMA awards ceremony for achievements in the Finnish music industry in 2010. At the center of the stage a high-resolution LED screen (1200 x 720 pixels) model LVM 8C-vpR, measuring 9.7 x 5.8 m, was mounted. The screen was framed with half-arches that were assembled from the same model LED video modules. The project was implemented by EVENTECH, EKTA’s representative partner in the Baltics and Scandinavia.
Emma-Gaala – similar to the American Grammy Awards ceremony – has been presented in Finland since 1983. As a rule the most famous Finnish artists perform during the concert of Emma-Gaala. This year the leader of “The Rasmus” rock band Lauri Ylonen introduced to the public a new single “Heavy” from his solo album “New World”. In addition, such musicians as Jenni Vartiainen, Dave Lindholm, “Stamina”, “Reckless Love”, “The Sounds” and many others performed during the ceremony. The award ceremony was broadcasted live on the Finnish YLE channel and on the YLE Arena web-site.
EKTA LED displays are popular among the organizers of concerts and award programs, directors of music videos and TV shows in the Baltic region and Scandinavia.
