EKTA Combined Screen at the Goldene Henne 2010 Awards Ceremony

24.01.2011

EKTA Vision company, EKTA’s representative in Germany, installed an original screen as video support for the Goldene Henne 2010 awards ceremony in Berlin. A feature of this screen is its combination of two models of LED-screens with different pixel pitch in one video-surface - with a total area of 65 m2. From the iLVM 24C model modules (pixel pitch - 24 mm) there was assembled a "background" screen with a small screen created by a high-resolution iLVM 6C-B / iLVM 6C-Q model modules (pixel pitch - 6 mm) built into it. A variety of visual effects creating a festive atmosphere in the hall were broadcasted on the big screen while the built-in screen broadcasted video providing informational support for the ceremony using an increased contrast model iLVM 6C-B / iLVM 6C-Q.

The Goldene Henne Award was established in 1995 in memory of famous actress and singer Helga Hahnemann. This prize is awarded to prominent figures in politics, culture and arts, sports and media. Organizers of the Goldene Henne 2010 ceremony expressed a preference for EKTA LED decorations in that all EKTA screens are characterized by the highest quality and reliability expected from one of the European visual equipment leaders. EKTA screens are the best tool to create the most unusual visual solutions in the show business arena. This fact has been proven by thousands of large-scale projects implemented thanks to EKTA equipment. Among them are performances of world-known show business stars such as Sirs Paul McCartney and Elton John, Madonna, Metallica, Scorpions, Iron Maiden and others, as well as cooperation with leading European video producers (Hindrek Maasik, Johan Soderberg).
