On 30th of March, the annual award for the great achievements in sport among Ukrainian sportsmen was held at the Oktyabrskiy palace.
This award, among Ukrainian sportsmen, is considered to be as important as Oscar for the movie stars.Best coaches, teams ,athletes, players are being nominated every year.
The «best coach of the year» has got the coach of the national box team - Dmitriy Sosnovsky.An award of the” best athlete of the year” was presented to the box champion of the world Aleksandr Usik.Viktoriya Tereschuk has became the “best athlete of the year” among the women.The “promising star“ award went to the swimmer Darya Zevina, who has won world junior championship and also twice European championship in swimming.Evgeniy Hitrov, world’s boxing champion, was announced as the “sensation of the year”.
