On the 4 of April, at the National theatre of Ivan Franco was held the annual ceremony «People to Be Proud Of 2012», initiated by STB TV-channel with charity fund of Victor Pinchyuk and "The Facts" newspaper .
The ceremony is being held annually and usually gives out awards in 11 nominations such as: ”Brave way”, ”The doctor of the year”, ”The breaking record of the year”, ”Real man’s deal”, ”Brave child”, ”The story of the family”, ”A rare talent”, ”Personal achievement” and the special nomination “The whole world”.
The winner of the ”Brave way” nomination became 24-year-old Pavel Bondarev, who covered 2 children by his own body in order to prevent them from road accident and died himself. This ceremony is different among the others by it’s special sensitive and touching atmosphere, it is hard for guests to hide their emotions and tears.
This year such famous politicians, singers,sportsmen, TV and movie stars were noticed at the ceremony as: Viktor Pinchyuk with his family, Leonid Kuchma, Anna German, Dmitriy Gordon, Aleksandr Shvets, Snezhana Egorova, Nadezhda Mayher, Nataliya Mogilevskaya, Liliya Podkopaeva, Yanna Klochkova.
Oksana Marchenko and Andrey Kulikov were the hosts of the night.
EKTA company, as a technical partner, provided LED-screens for the TV translation of ceremony.
