“Chervona
Ruta” the 13th festival since 1989, took place on the 26-29
September at ExpoCentre in Ukraine, Kiev. In 4 days more than 900 young singers
from all over Ukraine competed in the final rounds in six genres: pop, dance,
acoustic, rock, other music, Ukrainian authentic folklore. The singers
performed on three stages simultaneously. The spectators also enjoyed two Gala
concerts of the winners, the performance of Taras Petrinenko, national dances,
games and plays, kobzarstvo, and worksops of national famous people.
This year a
decision to unite Ukrainian festival Chervona Ruta with the specialized
exhibition of AV professional equipment “ Ukrainian Music Fair” was made by the
organizers of the festival. The goal was to create a new, modern, and at the
same time national music tradition across two brands of Ukrainian music. As a
result of successful integration, not only the art of execution but also sound
experiments were assessed for the first time in the history of the event. The
initiator of the innovation was “Ukrainian Music Fair” and the jury was the
community of audio producers and operators of Ukraine.
EKTA
company became the technical partner of the concert “Chervona Ruta”, providing
3 screens for the main stage. We also participated in exhibition “Ukrainian
Music Fair”. The attendees in the booth, decorated in the art style, could see
the new models of EKTA LED screens with high resolution, and control unit
ERMAC+.
